SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster ski and snowboard teams had 21 student-athletes recognized with Academic All-American honors by the U.S. Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association. The 21 athletes named are more than any other school in the association. Eight of the 21 were named to the first team, matching Sierra Nevada as the most in that department.
Kendall Brown, Sage Dunham, Zachary Lancaster, Matiss Madars, Ulrikke Nicolaisen, Kelsey Nilsen, and Siri Wieringa were all named a First Team Academic All-American by the USCSA. Desiree Deselrod, Ryan Donavan, Lorentz Gedde-Dahl, Ford Herbard, Robin Hill, Mark Speicher, and Perrine Voisin were all named to the Second Team.
Receiving Honorable Mention Academic All-American was: Hallie Beaver, Mackenzie Burns, Nicholas Cummings, Melissa Gill, Tyler Kjesbo, Gabriel Lepine, and Zachary Moon-Collins.
