SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster ski and snowboard teams are headed to Sunday River, Maine for the 2010 USCSA National Championships this week. The Westminster women's teams are each looking to defend the national championships they won in 2009. The men's teams are looking to improve on second place finishes from last year.

The action gets underway on Tuesday, March 2 with the snowboard teams competing in the Halfpipe competition. On Wednesday, March 3 the snowboarders have the Slopestlye event with the women's team taking to the Giant Slalom race.

The men take to the Giant Slalom course on Thursday, March 4 with qualification for Boarder-X on the snowboard side. The finals of Boarder-X are scheduled for Friday, March 5 along with the women's Slalom race. Saturday, March 6 features the men's Slalom race and the snowboard Giant Slalom.

The team national champions for each sport will be announced on March 6 following the completion of all events. They will also announce the individual national champions for the combined events.
