Location and Availability:
The Westminster athletic training rooms are located in the lower levels of the Health, Wellness and Athletic Center and Payne Gymnasium. The athletic training room will be open two hours prior to all home contests. A certified athletic trainer will be on site during any home contest. Visiting teams traveling without an athletic trainer should contact Rick Hackford, Head Athletic Trainer (801) 832-2355 prior to the scheduled contest. Please provide written instructions for any treatments or taping. We ask visiting teams provide their own taping supplies. Please see athletic training room accommodations below regarding sport:
HWAC Athletic Training Facility – men’s & women’s basketball, men’s & women’s cross country, men’s & women’s golf and women’s volleyball.
Payne Athletic Training Facility – men’s & women’s soccer and men’s & women’s lacrosse.
Game Day Services:
The following services will be provided from the Westminster Athletic Training Staff:
• Modalities (with written instructions from a certified athletic trainer)
• Ice bags, ice cups, and whirlpool
• Towels (with advance notice)
Visiting teams will be provided the following for their scheduled contest:
• Water/cups
• Ice bags
• Certified Athletic Trainer on site
