Dennis Sellis, 6-0 senior, forward, from Salt Lake, City, Utah was named the Frontier Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Westminster went 2-0 for the week with a 4-0 win over Soka University and a 7-0 win over Southwestern College.

Dennis Sellis scored two second half goals to help the Westminster men’s soccer team to a third consecutive victory on Monday afternoon at Dumke Field. Westminster and Great Falls played a scoreless opening 45 minutes, and then each team raised the offensive pressure in the second half for the 2-1 win by the Griffins.

The Westminster men’s soccer team travels to Fresno, California for two games at the Sunbird Tournament hosted by Fresno Pacific University. The Griffins open with a game against Fresno Pacific on Friday, September 18. The tournament concludes with a game against No. 22 The Master’s College on Saturday, September 19.
