The Westminster College men's lacrosse team opens the 2012 season over the weekend with three games at the Full House Face Off. Westminster will begin the year on Friday against No. 17 Sam Houston State before facing No. 10 Western Oregon on Saturday. They conclude the weekend on Sunday against UC Santa Cruz. All three games will be played at the Russell Road Sports Complex in Henderson, Nev.

Westminster will welcome LCSC to the Behnken Field house for a 5:30 p.m. tip. The game was selected as the NAIA Game of the Week, the national office announced today.

Men’s Soccer Places 29 on Academic All-Conference Team

Frontier Conference Commissioner Kent Paulson released the 2011 men's soccer academic all-conference team today. To be eligible for the team, the student-athlete must be at least a sophomore in standing, maintain a 3.0 GPA and be enrolled at school the previous two semesters. Westminster College led with 29 student-athletes selected.
