Eight Golfers named Academic All-Conference

The Westminster men’s and women’s golf teams combined to place eight members named Academic All-Frontier Conference. Frontier Conference Commissioner Kent Paulson released the academic all-conference teams this afternoon.

Golfers Eliminated in Opening Round

The Westminster men’s and women’s golf teams each dropped opening round matches at the 2010 Frontier Conference Championships on Monday morning. The men’s team lost 319-329 against Montana Tech while the women’s team lost 311-447 to Rocky Mountain.

Golfers Head to Conference Championship

The Westminster men’s and women’s golf teams are headed to Missoula, Montana for the first Ever Frontier Conference golf championship on Monday, April 26 and Tuesday, April 27. The event will be played at the Larchmont Golf Course and feature four opening round matches and two semi-final matches on the first day.

The Westminster men’s and women’s golf teams completed the 2010 regular season at the third Frontier Conference event of the season on Tuesday. The men finished in sixth place overall while the women posted a seventh place finish.

The Westminster men’s and women’s golf teams completed play at the first Frontier Conference event of the season on Tuesday. The Westminster men finished fifth with a four round score of 937. The women placed seventh with their three round score of 1,224.
