Griffin women make finals, men fall just short
The 17th-ranked Westminster College women's golf team qualified for Tuesday's championship match of the 2012 Frontier Conference Tournament by defeating Montana State-Northern in the semi-finals on Monday. The Westminster men fell two strokes short of making the final in a tough loss against No. 21 Rocky Mountain College.

Two members of the Westminster men's golf team were named a Daktronics/NAIA Scholar Athlete, the national office announced today. Bryce Till and Matthew Van Wagoner were each named to the team of 117 total student-athletes across the nation.

For the first time in school history the Westminster women's golf team are champions of the Frontier Conference. Westminster defeated Rocky Mountain College in a 36-hole championship match on Tuesday for the title and the automatic invite to the NAIA National Championships.
