Three Road Games Slated for Men’s Lacrosse during Spring Break

The Westminster men’s lacrosse team is back on the road for three games in five days starting on Friday, February 26 at Boise State. The trip continues on Sunday, February 28 in Portland, Oregon against No. 13 Southern Oregon. They conclude the spring break trip at No. 8 Western Oregon in Monmouth, Oregon.

Westminster Men’s Lacrosse Announces 2010 Schedule

The Westminster men’s lacrosse team announced the schedule for the upcoming 2010 season today. Westminster has 16 games on the slate during the 2010 regular season, including five on Dumke Field. They will face three teams that competed in the 2009 MCLA D2 National Tournament and another that made the D1 National Tournament semi-finals.

The defending MCLA D-II champion Westminster men’s lacrosse team will begin its title defense on Tuesday, May 12 against Missouri State. Opening face-off is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. on an outer field at Dick’s Sorting Goods Park in Denver, Colorado.

The Rock Mountain Lacrosse League announced the All-Conference teams for 2009 on Thursday and Westminster had nine players on the list. Westminster placed four players on the First Team All-RMLC and three more on the Second Team.
