The Westminster women’s soccer team used three second half goals to turn a 1-1 halftime tie into a 4-1 victory over Holy Name on Sunday afternoon. Heather Hillam scored twice in the game, both in the second half, as the Griffins won their third consecutive game. The win evens the Griffins record at 7-7-1 on the season.

The Westminster women’s soccer began their season ending five-game road swing with a 5-1 against Mills College on Friday evening. Westminster scored the game’s first three goals, two coming in the first half, to help them take a second consecutive win and push their unbeaten streak to three.

Both teams fought through 90 minutes of regulation and two 10 minute overtime sessions, but neither could find the back of the net. Westminster is now 4-7-1 overall and 1-0-1 in the Frontier Conference.
