One night after their bus was involved in an accident, the Westminster women’s volleyball team played through the emotion of the situation with a five-set win over Montana State-Northern on Friday night. Westminster rallied to take the final two sets after finding themselves trailing 2-1 through the first three sets.

The Westminster women’s volleyball used one of their better offensive performances of the season to defeat Montana Western 3-0 on Saturday afternoon. Nine different players recorded at least one kill as the Griffins won the match 25-19, 25-14, 25-14.

The Westminster women’s volleyball team snapped a five-match losing streak with a 3-0 sweep of Montana Tech on Thursday night. Westminster continued its dominance in the Behnken Field House, improving to 3-0 at home this season and 26-7 all-time.

The Westminster women’s volleyball team dropped two matches over the weekend in Hawaii. On Friday night, Westminster lost 3-1 to Brigham Young-Hawaii. That was followed with a 3-1 loss against Chaminade on Saturday afternoon. With the two losses, Westminster falls to 6-15 on the season.

Westminster will face BYU-Hawaii on Friday, October 9 in Laie, Hawaii at 7:30 p.m. They face Chaminade on Saturday, October 10 at Noon in Honolulu, Hawaii.
