Beal Scores Six to Lead Griffins to Win

BOISE, Idaho – Kaicee Beal scored six goals in her collegiate debut as the Westminster women’s lacrosse team defeated Boise State 16-9 on Friday night. Westminster wins the season opener for the second time in as many seasons.
Sage West added five goals and three assists for the Griffins. Erin Foslid led Westminster with six ground balls while Lindsey Mark and Carson Chambers collected four each. The Griffins won the face-off battle 16-10.
Westminster will play Boise State again on Saturday, February 6 at 4:00 p.m. in a rematch.
