Frontier Conference Announces 2010 All-Conference Volleyball Team

WHITEFISH, Mont. — Frontier Conference commissioner Kent Paulson announced the 2010 all-conference volleyball team, as well as individual award winners today.

Ericka Evans from Westminster was named Second Team All-Frontier Conference. She is the only Griffin represented on one of the two all-conference squads. Evans has recorded 161 kills, 241 digs, and 13 service aces. The 5-10 senior from Layton, Utah became just the second member of the 700 kills/700 dig club at Westminster earlier this season. She was named First Team All-Conference last season and has three times been named Academic All-Conference in her career.

Westminster freshmen Emily Atkinson and Kyndall Kordakis were named to the Frontier All-Freshman Team. Atkinson is third in the conference in assists at 8.8 per set while recording 21 service aces. The 5-10 setter from Salt Lake City has recorded five double-doubles this season. Kordakis is averaging 4.1 digs per set to rank fourth in the conference. The 5-4 libero has recorded double figures in digs 19 times this season.

Lewis-Clark State College took three individual awards and landed five players on the all-conference team, four with first team honors and one earning honorable mention honors. Nicole Graybeal was named Player of the Year and Newcomer of the Year while Warrior head coach Jennifer Greeny was named Coach of the Year.

Maureen Frauenholtz of Carroll College was named Libero of the Year and Averi Pasma of the University of Great Falls was named Freshman of the Year.
