WHITEFISH, Mont. - Frontier Conference commissioner Kent Paulson announced the league's post season basketball playoff format today.
"‘March Madness' in the Frontier Conference is right around the corner," Paulson said. Our men's and women's teams have been battling it out in round one of conference play, having reached the midpoint of the season last weekend. So far, on any given night, teams have shown the ability to beat each other. If you haven't had the opportunity to take in some of the most Exciting college basketball that you will see anywhere at any level, we would encourage you to load up the family and attend a men's and women's Frontier game in your area. The experience will be PRICELESS!"
The men's playoffs will be held March 2, 5 and 8 and the women's playoffs will be held March 3, 6 and 9.
The highest seeded teams host the lowest seeded teams throughout the playoffs. Seeding is based on regular season conference finish.
