Union (29-1, 16-0 TranSouth Athletic Conference) completed its third straight undefeated TranSouth regular season with a 68-61 win at No. 17 Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.) on Feb. 25. The Lady Bulldogs host the No. 8 seed Cumberland (Tenn.) in the quarterfinals of the TranSouth Conference Tournament on Wednesday.

Saint Xavier (27-1, 9-1 Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference) wrapped up its sixth consecutive CCAC regular season title with its 88-53 win over Robert Morris (Ill.) on Feb. 23. The Cougars turn their sights to the postseason in hopes of winning a fifth straight CCAC tournament title.

Vanguard (22-2, 18-2 Golden State Athletic Conference) secured a share of the GSAC regular season crown with No. 7 Azusa Pacific (Calif.) in an 86-50 win over California Baptist on March 1. It is the Lions seventh GSAC title in the last eight seasons.

No. 25 William Jewell (Mo.) is the only newcomer to this week's poll. It is the first time the Cardinals have cracked the Top 25 dating back to the 1999-2000 season.

Twelve conferences are represented by teams in the poll. The TranSouth and GSAC lead all conferences with four ranked schools each. The TranSouth is represented by Union, No. 13 Freed-Hardeman (Tenn.), No. 17 Bethel (Tenn.) and No. 19 Trevecca Nazarene (Tenn.). The GSAC is represented by Vanguard, Azusa Pacific, No. 8 Point Loma Nazarene (Calif.) and No. 21 Biola (Calif.). It is the first time this season that all 12 conferences have been represented in the poll.

The poll was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences and independents.
