SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster men's soccer team has added five student-athletes for the 2010 season. Head coach
Chris Dorich announced on Tuesday that Max Bell, Jordan Conroy, Arshia Dezham, Bryan Rucklos, and Matt Werner have all signed a Frontier Conference letter of intent to join the Griffins in the fall of 2010.
Bell will join Westminster from Judge Memorial in Salt Lake City, Utah. The 5-6 midfielder was the Offensive MVP during his freshman year and is also on the Honor Roll.
Conroy comes to Westminster from Plattsburgh High School in Plattsburgh, New York. He is a 5-10 center mid was a Section Seven All-State and National Soccer Coaches All-State performer as a senior. Conroy also lettered in hockey in golf as well as being a class officer and member of the National Honor Society.
Dezham is from Salt Lake City, Utah where he preps at Alta High School. He is a 5-9 defender that earned a varsity letter in soccer and wrestling in three seasons. Dezham is also on the Honor Roll.
Rucklos joins the Griffins from Boise, Idaho where he attends Boise High School. Rucklos is a 6-2 center defender that was named a District 3 All-Star and Second Team All-Conference as a senior.
Werner is from Boxford, Massachusetts where he attends Masconomet High School. He is a 5-10 defender that was named a Cape Ann League All-Star this season.
