DENVER, Colo. - The Westminster men's lacrosse team faces Dayton this afternoon in the quarterfinals of the MCLA National Championship. The game has been moved up one hour to 3 p.m. due to weather issues in the area and will be played on field 8 at Dick's Sporting Goods Park.

Today's meeting will be the second all-time match-up between the two programs. Westminster won a 10-6 decision in the semi-finals of the 2008 national tournament.
Dayton enters today's game at 11-1 on the season and riding an eight-game winning streak. They are the No. 2 overall seed in the tournament and were champions of the CCLA. They advanced to the quarterfinals with a 14-3 win over Missouri State on Tuesday.
Westminster brings a 12-7 oveall record into the game. Westminster is the No. 10 seed in the tournament and received an at-large invite after losing in the championship game of the RMLC Tournament. They reached today;s game with an 11-7 win over seventh-seeded Elon on Tuesday.
Toady's winner will face the winner between St. John's and Utah Valley at 11 a.m. on Friday in the stadium.
