SALT LAKE CITY – Over the next several weeks we will be searching for the Game of the Year from the 2009-2010 athletic season. You can help us by logging on to westminstergriffins.com and picking your favorite game on or fan poll located in the bottom right hand corner of the front page.

There will be eight categories in all, divided up between four from men's games and four from women's games. The winners of each category will then be placed into a bracket and we will find our overall winner.

A new poll will be available every Monday starting on April 19.

This week it is time to find the best game from the 2009-10 women's basketball season.  The Griffins 27-7 during the season and advanced to the second round of the NAIA National Championship.  Here is the four choices for the best game from the season.

November 13- Griffins defeat College of Idaho 93-91 (RECAP)
February 26 - Griffins defeat #12 Lewis-Clark State 82-77 (RECAP)
March 6 - Griffins defeat Carroll 89-85 ot (RECAP)
March 17 - Griffins defeat Lambuth 67-55 (RECAP)

The winner will be announced on Monday, May 31 along with the choices for men's lacrosse.

Last week we were looking for the best game from the 2009-10 men's basketball season. The Griffins victory over Montana Western in the Frontier Conference Tournament championship game was easily the fan favorite. That game received 88% of the vote, becoming the biggest winner in the poll so far.
