Welcome to the 2010 MCLA Full House Face Off Lacrosse Tournament.
This event gathers top MCLA "Small College" teams for an old-fashioned preseason shoot out. In the inaugural event we are thrilled to have eight top flight MCLA teams representing four geographic conferences. The following is a list of the participants with their 2009 record.
Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League (PNCLL)
Western Oregon Wolves, (13-4, PNCLL D-II Champs)
Western Oregon Vikings, (6-5, PNCLL Runners-up)
Rocky Mtn Lacrosse Conference (RMLC)
Northern Arizona Lumberjacks, (4-6)
Utah Valley University Wolverines, (4-4)
Westminster College Griffins, (12-7, RMLC Runners-up)
Southwestern Lacrosse Conference (SLC)
Biola University Eagles. (11-3, SLC Champs)
Cal State - Fullerton Titans (13-4, SLC Runners-up)
Western Collegiate Lacrosse League, (WCLL)
Univ. of California-Santa Cruz Banana Slugs, (7-2, WCLL Champs)
We are going to kick off the 2010 season with some very exciting lacrosse. Several of these teams may meet again in May at the MCLA National Championships in Denver, Colorado. This early season showdown is proving to be a very popular format and we are already working on our bracket for the 2011 Full House Face Off. We anticipate expanding to sixteen teams in 2011, (8 teams representing D-I and 8 teams again for D-II).
If your team is interested in applying for the 2011 event, please contact the 2010 Event Director, Mase Goodhand via the link provided below.
A note on the 2010 schedule! The first round is all set. The second round contests and Championship game times are also set, however we obviously won't be able to "fill-in" team names for these rounds until the opening rounds are completed on Friday night. If the team you are following wins their Friday night game, they will play at 10:00 AM Saturday morning. If they win that second-round match-up, they will be in the Championship Game at 4:15 Saturday afternoon. If they lose their second round game they are all thru. Teams who lose in the opening round Friday night, will play a second contest at 12:30 PM on Saturday. The game pairings for this round may be juggled to avoid matching-up two teams which are scheduled to meet later in the spring.
WE WILL UPDATE THIS WEB SITE WITH GAME SCORES AND SCHEDULING DETAILS AS SOON AS THE INFORMATION IS AVAILABLE. SAVE THIS SITE AND CHECK BACK FOR ALL THE UPDATES!
